How We Can Help

Clinical Psychologists are trained to work with a range of mental health difficulties and other problems that may arise in life (i.e. relationship difficulties, life transitions, and difficulties arising from physical health problems). We have experience working with children, adolescents and adults.

If there is a particular issue that we have not listed here that you would like help with, please do contact us to discuss further. If we are unable to help, we will likely signpost you towards services that can.

How It Works

We offer an initial 20 minute consultation to discuss the issues you would like help with. This can also help us address any questions you may have about the process.

If you think that you would like to work with us, we would then provide an initial assessment where we take time to understand and make sense of the problem in more detail and develop a psychological "formulation" (or shared understanding) of the difficulties you are going through. This will help to inform the goals of the therapy which we could work towards and the type of therapeutic approach that you may benefit from. You can then decide whether to proceed with the proposed plan and you are under no obligation to start therapy unless you wish to.

If you decide to proceed with therapy, the sessions are offered either online or in person. Typically sessions involve discussing problems and drawing on evidence-based psychological approaches and strategies to manage the problems discussed.
